“She’s so chatty and we talk all the time!”
A pit bull named Maisy spent the beginning of her life living outdoors in a kennel all alone. Her owners only paid attention to her when they wanted to breed her, and when she could no longer get pregnant, they wanted her euthanized. But a family friend stepped in and got Maisy to an animal rescue.
Marisa Elbert heard of Maisy through a friend, and she had to have her. After losing her 13-year-old pit bull, her dad, and her mom all within a year, she needed something to cheer her up. And Maisy would definitely do that! The chatty dog has conversations with Mom nonstop, and it’s exactly what she needed.
