For whatever reason, a family moved out of their apartment 10 years ago and left their dog, Bokshil, behind. The old girl waited in place hoping they’d return, but they never did.
Some kind neighbors helped to look after Bokshil over the past 10 years by feeding her and providing her with a doghouse. She spends her days walking after passersby hoping they’re her family but never strays too far from her spot.
Bokshil has been losing her sight over the years, and her health is in a slow decline. The dog’s vet feels it would do more harm than good at this point to take her away from her comfort zone. So here she sits, doing what makes her happy.
