You’ll probably agree that sometimes, making a decision can be very difficult.
There’s the worry that we might commit to the wrong choice and these types of worries have an impact on our decision making skills… Making us even more concerned about the choice we have to make! It’s a tricky situation to find yourself in.
We are told that sometimes it’s better to just have conviction, risk it all, and go for one path.
But is this always the right way? Just ask Dunkin, this beautiful and intelligent dog with who shares an Instagram with his buddy Kirby.
Poor Dunkin.
At first it looks as though he’s made the right decision but as he goes to check what was behind door number 2, we realize that he really chose poorly.
In this hilarious video, Dunkin’s owner presents him with one of these difficult choices in the form of two outstretched fists: one containing the promise of a tasty treat and the other… Well, just see for yourself:
And Dunkin realizes this too, but he is a real dog: he takes the loss on the chin. Rather than snatching at the hand full of treats he accepts his loss, composes himself, and understands that this game wasn’t his.
Next time.
Dunkin would make a pretty excellent game show host and we even have a lot to learn from him ourselves! We might make the wrong choice but at least there’s something still good to be found there. Even if it’s just a single dog biscuit. There’s always another shot.
