Taking care of a young one is what a mother does best. And in the animal kingdom, it’s no different. Steve Muise was driving home one day through Canada when he saw a mother and baby pair interacting in a way that warmed his heart.
Here was a mama moose taking the time to make sure her newborn wobbly calf was able to safely cross the road. Steve and his wife stopped and watched in awe as they recorded the whole thing. The baby was so small, it must’ve just been born within the past few hours.
What a sweet moment to witness! Even if they didn’t happen to record it, it’s not something this couple would’ve soon forgotten.
