Animal Aid Unlimited received word of a tiny puppy lying in the road near a pool of blood. They arrived thinking the poor thing was taking his final breaths. His mouth and nose were covered in blood, and they knew they didn’t have much time. He seemed beyond hope, but they had to try.
Back at the hospital, the little one struggled to stay alive. Rescuers gave him medicine to reduce the swelling in his brain and provided lots of love. The puppy regained consciousness three days later but couldn’t walk or eat on his own.
